Tips and tricks for beautiful, long-lasting press-on nails.

  • Before getting started check each press-on nail for size by gently placing them (without any glue) against your natural nails. Our size guide is designed to provide the best possible fit, but every hand is unique and there will be slight variations for each user. You can use the provided nail file to trim slight excess from the press-on nails.
  • Make sure to select the correct press-on nail for each corresponding finger, meaning thumb, index, middle, ring and pinky fingers for each hand. Tip: line them up on a flat surface in the right order before applying to avoid mistakes.
  • Clean your hands and buff the surface of your natural nails. Wipe nails with provided alcohol swabs to remove oils.
  • Select an adhesive tab that best matches the size of your natural nail, apply it smoothly onto your natural nail, and then peel off the protective plastic film.
  • Align the press-on nail with your cuticle line, leaving a tiny gap. Gently place the nail down onto the sticky tab.
  • Press down firmly for 15-30 seconds across the entire surface of the press-on nail, making sure all edges are sealed and no air is trapped.
  • Do not submerge your hands in water for at least one hour after application.
  • Buff and clean your natural nails with an alcohol wipe to ensure they are oil-free.
  • Make sure to select the correct press-on nail for each corresponding finger, meaning thumb, index, middle, ring and pinky fingers for each hand. Tip: line them up on a flat surface in the right order before applying to avoid mistakes.
  • Apply a small drop of nail glue directly to the back of the press on nail where it will meet your natural nail, and a small dot of glue on your natural nail. Be careful not to over-apply.
  • Align the press-on nail with your cuticle line, leaving a tiny gap. Place the bottom edge of the press-on nail at the cuticle first, and then slowly and gently lower the rest of the nail.
  • Press and hold the nail firmly for 15-30 seconds. Ensure the nail covers your natural nail edge-to-edge.
  • Avoid submerging your hands in water for at least one hour after application.
  • Please note: If you use the glue-on method, the hold will last several days, but you will not be able to re-use the nails because they will dissolve during the removal process.
  • Fill a bowl with warm water and a few drops of dish soap, and optionally, a little olive oil. Soak your nails for 10-15 minutes.
  • Gently wiggle and lift the sides and cuticle area of the press-on nail.
  • Once the adhesive bond has softened, the press-on nail should gently peel away. Never force or rip the press-on nail off to avoid damaging them.
  • If any residue remains, rub your natural nail with a warm, wet cloth or gently buff it clean.

The First 24 Hours (Curing Time)

  • Do not submerge your hands in water for at least 1 hour after application. For maximum life, avoid excessive water exposure for the first 24 hours.
  • Be careful not to bump your nails or use them for heavy tasks while wearing press-on nails.
  • Make sure the glue/tabs are fully cured before applying any top coat or polish, as this can trap moisture and weaken the bond.

Daily Protection

  • Wear gloves when washing dishes, cleaning with harsh chemicals, or gardening. Prolonged water exposure is the number one cause of lifting.
  • Never use your press-on nails to scrape stickers, open cans, or pry things open. This puts stress on the bond and can cause the nail to pop off or crack.
  • Apply cuticle oil daily around the edges and under the free edge of the nail. This keeps your cuticles healthy and prevents lifting without dissolving the bond.

Maintenance & Repairs

  • Apply a clear top coat every 2-3 days to keep the finish shiny and seal the tips. It helps prevent chipping.
  • If you used the glue-on method and an edge lifts, do not pull the nail off. Carefully clean the lifted area with an alcohol wipe, apply a small drop of fresh nail glue underneath, and press firmly for 30 seconds.
  • If you used the adhesive tab and an edge lifts, do not pull the nail off. Use our removal guide to remove the single nail and re-apply.
  • If the tip snags or you want to shorten the length slightly, use a gentle file. File from the sides toward the center.
